Wallpaper Designers & Brands You Need to Know: Part 1
If you’ve ever fallen down the rabbit hole of designer interiors and found yourself wondering, “Where do people find these wallpapers?”—you’re not alone. The good news is you don’t need a secret sourcebook. You just need to know the makers.
This series is your shortcut to the most iconic (and under-the-radar) wallpaper brands and designers that interior designers turn to again and again. We’re starting with three favorites that each bring their own unique magic to a room.

Adelphi Paper Hangings
Style: Historical, hand-printed, American

If you’re dreaming of a space that feels like it stepped out of a historic home tour, Adelphi is your go-to. This New York-based studio meticulously reproduces 18th and 19th-century wallpapers using traditional hand-printing methods.
Their collection ranges from bold early American prints to subtle neoclassical motifs, and they even offer custom colorways to suit your palette. It’s as close to historically accurate as you can get (without a time machine).
Mulberry Home
Style: English country, classic, a touch of quirk

You may know Mulberry for their handbags, but their interiors line deserves just as much attention. Think cozy English manors with a fox hunting oil painting in the sitting room.
Their wallpapers are traditional with a twist—earthy, heritage-inspired patterns that still feel current. Their iconic Flying Ducks pattern is a standout (and yes, it’s going in my own primary bedroom).
Beata Heuman
Style: Whimsical, colorful, modern-traditional

Beata Heuman is the designer behind some of the most joyful interiors in the UK, and her wallpaper collection is small but mighty. Inspired by everything from antique books to vintage circus motifs, her designs are instantly recognizable.
The marbled pattern (inspired by antique endpapers) has become something of a cult favorite—I used the fabric version on an entry chair. If you love playful color but still want something timeless, she’s one to know.
